When ordering Woven Wire Screens

The following information is critical when obtaining a quote or sending through an order for your requirements ,

Quantity - this has an effect on the price due to set up time of the weaving loom unless the screens are available Ex Stock via prior arrangement with Allied Mesh.Consignment stock holding is offered by Allied if arrangements are made with Management.

Aperture -If square aperture not a problem , if slotted we need to know the Slot dimensions ie (4x30) , this figure should be denoted in brackets as not to get confused with other specifications , we also need to know what dimension the long side of the slot runs in.

Wire - it is important that you specify a wire thickness for your aperture as this has a huge impact on the cost , if no wire size is given we will provide the most common for that specific aperture.It is also important to take note of the wire size quoted when comparing quotes.

Length - length of your screen

Width - width of your screen

Hook-the dimension that has your hook on must be denoted with + OH and is usually the last dimension specified.Measure from the bend of one hook to the bend of the next hook and include the prefix + OH on that dimension.

Material - unless specified we will assume the material required is High Carbon.
